"The Trickery of Sister Rabbit" - Story by Ya-Schay
Today I share a story with you of that lovable, fluffy, and oh so delicious creature, Sister Rabbit! Along with Coyote, Raven, Skunk, Gopher, and many others, Sister Rabbit is a class A trickster, using her small, cute stature to trick others for her amusement and entertainment. But as in life, there are consequences to her actions, and Sister Rabbit learns that the hard way. This story was created by me, reflecting on many indigenous and worldly views of trickster stories. So, round up the kids, get the rabbit snacks of carrots, celery, turnip greens, spring onions, wild potatoes, and a nice mango chutney ready, turn down the lights, turn up the volume, sit back, relax and enjoy my story; “The Trickery of Sister Rabbit” - Story By Ya-Schay.
